There is something exciting about seeing Caribbean colour in a completely different place. It changes the surroundings, but the feeling stays the same. Easy, confident and full of life.
Because the Caribbean is more than a place. It is a mood, a memory and a way of seeing the world. One that can travel across coastlines, cities and mountains, and still feel completely at home.

SAINT LUKE PICKS: RYAN
Some people see a piece of wood washed up on the shore. Ryan sees what it could become.
He spends his time walking the beaches of Barbados, collecting driftwood shaped by the sea and turning it into something new. Furniture, decorations, strange little treasures and pieces that seem to carry their own island history.
Ryan played a huge part in bringing our Saint Luke store to life. Much of the character you see inside came from his hands, his imagination and the wood he found along the coast.
Nothing is too polished or too perfect. Every piece has been weathered by the ocean before being given another life.
That feels very Saint Luke to us. Creative, resourceful and unmistakably Caribbean.
We are incredibly grateful to Ryan for helping shape our space and making it feel like it could only belong in Barbados.

PADEL, PICKLEBALL AND A POST MATCH PIT STOP
Right next door to the Saint Luke store in Chattel Village is Courtside, one of our favourite places to work up a sweat in Barbados.
With tennis, padel and pickleball courts, a brilliant atmosphere and an amazing team who always make you feel welcome, it is the perfect spot for a friendly game or something a little more competitive.
Padel has quickly become a firm island favourite, and we can see why. It is fast, social, slightly addictive and usually followed by plenty of debate about who really won the point.
So book a court, bring your best game and once you are finished, wander next door to Saint Luke and say hello. We cannot promise to improve your backhand, but we can definitely sort out your post match wardrobe.
EXPLORING BARBADOS: HASTINGS BEACH
Between Coconut Court and the beginning of the Hastings Boardwalk is a small stretch of beach that is easy to miss.
There are shallow pools tucked between the rocks, trees leaning towards the sea and little patches of sand that often feel completely untouched. While the boardwalk carries on around it, this spot somehow remains quiet, peaceful and almost always empty.
It is not one of the island’s famous beaches, and perhaps that is exactly what makes it so special. There are no crowds and no real plans to make. Just calm water, shade from the trees and a place to slow down for a while.
One of those beautiful corners of Barbados that asks for nothing and gives you everything you came looking for.
Just do us one favour. Keep this one between us.
